Disney Fantasy launched in 2012 is the newest of the four luxury cruise ships in the DCL fleet, and is by far the most regal to date, with 14 towering decks and 1,250 staterooms. This majestic vessel combines state of the art technology of the modern century with the charm and elegance of the classic ocean liners of day's-gone by. Able to gallantly transport 2,500 passengers to the tropical wonderlands of the Eastern and Western Caribbean islands, including a stop on Disney's private island Castaway Cay. This ship is the biggest and boldest of the DCL line thus far and a pleasure to cruise upon for families, couples or Disney enthusiasts in general.

DISNEY FANTASY - Why cruise with this Disney cruise ship?

Disney Fantasy combines the utmost in comfort and outstanding service in a truly Disney fashion that adults and children can both enjoy together or separately. Even though this vessel's demographic is geared towards families because of the exceptional interactive activity and entertainment itineraries on board, Disney Fantasy, has lots to offer non-family groups of travelers with plenty of adult-exclusive areas of the ship that offer the grandeur of all things Disney among the serenity of the sea.

ENTERTAINMENT: Disney cruise ships are well-known for their family friendly itineraries that offer children 8 and under a "fairy-tale" dream come true atmosphere of character meet-and-greets, but what about everybody else? Disney Fantasy doesn't disappoint and has broadened it's horizons to make this cruise ship fun enough for older kids without losing any of the Disney magic travelers look forward too from this fleet. Disney Fantasy has also expanded and enriched it's adult-only pool for those traveling without children.

For all the kids (something for all ages): Disney Fantasy has age specific clubs, activities and services that cater to all families that have young kids, older kids or a mix of both. It's a Small World Nursery provides day care for children under three allowing parents to have some adult fun during the day while their child is safety attended to. For kids older than three on up to 12 years old there is the Oceaneer Club that immerses children into the imaginative worlds that Disney has conjured up for us all with varying supervised activities, stage performances, Disney character appearances, movie watching and more. Another offering for 3 - 12 years of age is the Oceaneer's Lab which is dedicated to adventure and exploring with toys, movies, education experiments, supervised activities and is the beginning point for ship-wise quest game. Edge is the pre-teen epicenter that offers high-tech fun with illuminated dance floors, a video wall that acts as a giant viewing screen for movies and games and computers for gaming and more. Teens can meet up at Vibe to forge friendships in a kid-free indoor/outdoor lounge environment that features a coffee car, DJ and dance area with a video wall, a media room for gaming and moving watching in addition to a variety of fun-filled group activities offered during the day.

Adults: For those traveling with or without children there is ample adults-only activities mostly during the evening. Deck 4 houses the entertainment district which is home to European-themed bars and lounges featuring La Piazza, an Italian bar shaped like a carousel; the resident Irish pub O'Gill's; Tube, a London-like club with phone booths to dance in; and a French champagne bar called Ooh La La. When adults want a kid-free afternoon in the sun head on over to Quiet Cove Pool or Satellite Falls for some relaxing poolside lounging.

DINING: Disney Fantasy has some of the most interesting menus and creatively themed restaurants that are sure to satisfy every palate on board and under the Rotational Dining policy passengers will enjoy a different restaurant every night on their cruise. During the day enjoy some sweets at Eye Scream and Frozone or grab a quick bite at Flo's Cafe. Disney Fantasy offers two adult exclusive restaurants Palo and Remy that feature Italian and French cuisines with picturesque views of the ocean.

CABINS: The DCL cabins are best known for their family friendly design and for having some of the largest standard rooms at sea with a fabulous split-bath setup. All cabins feature LCD TV's, iPod docking station and Wave Phones for families to keep in touch on board and on Castaway Island. Another neat feature for those booking inside cabins is the Magical Portholes that give passengers real-time views outside of the ship via flat screen TV's the resemble actual portholes.
